for American Cultures Colloquium at Northwestern
The American Cultures Colloquium at Northwestern brings Americanists from different
academic specialties and institutions into dialogue with one another. The study of American cultural history is necessarily interdisciplinary. To that end, the Colloquium allows scholars using multiple intellectual approaches to participate in conversations about a shared set of cultural artifacts and contexts. The Colloquium is administered by advanced graduate students and funded by the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and various Northwestern departments and programs. All Colloquium events are designed to appeal to broad audiences and are open to the public.
