Upcoming Events for Colloquium on Ethnicity & Diaspora (CED)

Coordinated by graduate students with the assistance of faculty, the Colloquium for Ethnicity and Diaspora (CED) provides an interdisciplinary intellectual space for faculty and graduate students to critically engage issues in transnational history, comparative race and ethnic studies, critical race theory, community formations, and citizenship. We feature a series of events including lectures, roundtables, book discussions, and panels to engage the preceding issues through an interdisciplinary approach, bringing in scholars from the fields of African American Studies; American Studies; Anthropology; Art History; Asian American Studies; Comparative Literature; Criminology, Law & Society; Disability Studies; English; Film & Media Studies; Gender and Women’s Studies; History; Justice, Community, & Leadership; Latinx Studies; Legal Studies; Middle Eastern Studies; Music; Native American and Indigenous Studies; Performance Studies; Religious Studies; and Sociology.
