for Center for Genetic Medicine
The Center for Genetic Medicine is a joint venture between Northwestern University, Northwestern Medicine, and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. The center facilitates research that improves the understanding of fundamental genetic mechanisms, stimulates the development of genetically based technology for diagnosis and treatment of disease, and aids the faculty of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and its partner hospitals in applying genetics to the practice of medicine. The center also strives to improve public understanding of the impact of genetics and genetic technologies on society.
