Bienen School jazz students perform holiday charts and arrangements by Wynton Marsalis.  The concert features guest trumpeter Marcus Printup, a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra since 1993.  Billboard Magazine hails him as “jazz’s best kept secret,” while All About Jazz declares, “Printup’s full sound has a vocal quality to it, as no lyrics are needed.” Printup was featured onscreen and in the soundtrack for the film Playing by Heart and has recorded several albums as a bandleader.  His latest album, London Lullaby, was released in January of 2009.
