SUMMARY:CRC Basic Training Online
DESCRIPTION:CRC Basic Training Online is an online classroom where you meet weekly with your class and instructor to learn the role of a clinical research coordinator and the basics of clinical research.  The course content is designed to provide a practical introduction to the clinical research coordinator role with tools and templates to allow you to hit the ground running.  It includes an overview of the clinical research process\, an introduction to roles of key personnel involved in clinical research\, good clinical practice\, ethics\, regulatory considerations and best practices for success in this position.    Classes are typically limited to twelve students to ensure that each student receives individualized instruction suited to their levels of experience.  In order to sign up for CRC Basic Online you need to complete the 30 minute course\, Introduction to Online Learning [http://www.nucats.northwestern.edu/education-career-development/clinical-research-professionals-training/introduction-to-online-learning.html].  Introduction to Online Learning assures you know how to use the tools and techniques in the online classroom to make CRC Basic Online a productive course for you.  Students completing the CRC Basic Online course will receive 10 hours of CE credit. http://www.nucats.northwestern.edu/education-career-development/research-support-staff-training/crc-basic-training/crc-basic-training-online.html
