Community Values, Ethics & Conflict Resolution: Fostering Community-Academic Translational Research to Address Health Disparities
Experiences from Atlanta
The presenters will discuss the role of community-engaged research in addressing health disparities. They will explain how community values have shaped their partnership and how those values tie to ethical standards of research. They will describe different models and levels of community participation in research and present strategies for addressing conflicts between academic and community partners.
