Northwestern students, faculty, and staff contributed their thumbprints on paper in response to the story of Henrietta Lacks, a poor African-American woman whose cells, taken without her knowledge, were used in groundbreaking medical research. This exhibition displays the scroll of the colorful thumbprints, along with other objects from the One Book One Northwestern project, which engaged members of the Northwestern community in reading and discussing Rebecaa Skloot's book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
