The purpose of FSM's Global Health Day is to give FSM and other Northwestern students the opportunity to share their recent global health experiences with the Northwestern community, raise the profile of global health education at FSM, and create networking opportunities among mentors and students. The event will be co-sponsored by FSM's Student Committee on Global Health, the Center for Global Health, and the Global Health Initiative (GHI).
Noon - 1 PM: Panel Discussion on Global Health Career Opportunities.

The panel discussion will include doctors and health care professionals who will discuss how they have incorporated global health into their careers in meaningful ways, with advice for new trainees, followed by Q&A. Panelists will be from diverse fields of medicine who are at different stages of their careers, including a McGaw resident, junior FSM faculty members with interests in global health research and direct clinical care in resource-limited settings, as well as a senior FSM faculty member.
5:00 - 7:00 PM: Global Health Poster Session.

Join us at FSM's second annual global health poster session where FSM faculty, students, and McGaw residents will present recent global health projects to the Northwestern community. The event is planned and co-sponsored by FSM's Student Committee on Global Health, FSM's Center for Global Health, and Chicago Lake Shore Medical Associates' Global Health Initiative.
