More Info

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is one of the world's leading think tanks, one that recruits researchers and Fellows who hold views that spread across the spectrum of politics. Its staff strives to concentrate on analysis of foreign affairs for the benefit of all nations rather than to promote a narrow political agenda.
Junior Fellows conduct research, co-author journal articles and policy papers, participate in meetings with high-level officials, and contribute to Congressional testimony. Northwestern may nominate only two students. Successful applicants have outstanding grades, rigorous coursework, and community involvement experience.

The Office of Fellowships has received the application for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellows Program. The Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs. Approximately 8-10 students will be hired to work at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC on a full-time basis for a period of one year. Positions are paid, full-time positions for one year. Junior fellows are currently paid a gross salary of $3,000.00 per month ($36,000 per year). A full benefits package is also provided.
If you are interested in receiving the application, please email Angela Johnson (Angela-Johnson@northwestern.edu) requesting a copy of the 2013-2014 Carnegie Fellows Application packet.

CAMPUS APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, November 28, 12:00 noon. Complete application should be submitted and should include all essays, recommendations, and an unofficial transcript.
