Northwestern has a longstanding record of success with Coro with most applicants making the final round and multiple students winning every year.  Coro is a wonderful opportunity for campus leaders, public servants, and students of policy.

Coro is like the public affairs version of the rotation system in medical schools.  Fellows get a 360-degree view of the public affairs arena in this 10-month program as they work through placements within government, media, business, labor, and non-profit organizations in Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, or St. Louis.

Coro believes that society’s complex problems can be solved only by leaders who have a systemic view of overlapping sectors such as community development, transportation, and public health.  Fellows emerge with skills, knowledge, and perspectives that make them better participants on either side of public-private partnerships.

Advanced Deadline: Friday, December 14, 2012 (Reduced Application Fee: $35)

Regular Deadline: Friday, January 18, 2013 (Application Fee: $75)

The Office of Fellowships is eager to provide application guidance to prospective candidates.  We can offer past winning essays, contact information for recent fellows, and appointments for essay consultations.
