With the constant barrage of sexist and racist incidents - not just the big ones, but the smaller microaggressions - it often feels like fighting all the time isn't worth the effort. Amanda Marcotte, journalist, feminist blogger, and author, will put forht examples of how hanging in and continuting the good fight odes pan out. She will also focus on using humor and giving yourself permission to have fun.
Marcotte will give the presentation three times, twice in Evanston and once in Chicago.
