-Are you committed to a career in environmental policy, activism, education, or journalism?
-Do you do scientific research related to the environment?
-Do you like "green" things (including money)?
If you are a sophomore or junior and answered yes to two or more of these questions, then don't miss fellowship opportunities designed for students interested in environmental sciences and/or policy.
Most opportunities are for summer research (Hollings, Woods Hole, and National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates), but the UDALL SCHOLARSHIP is a prestigious Congressional fellowship that provides tuition support and access to environmental leaders in multiple sectors.
Northwestern may nominate up to 6 candidates for the Udall. The internal deadline for nomination is February 14.
Completed applications and three recommendations must be submitted to fellowships@northwestern.edu.
Details about the Udall are at http://udall.gov/OurPrograms/MKUScholarship/MKUScholarship.aspx.
