The Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University is hosting a free parent seminar led by Megan Foley Nicpon, PHD, University of Iowa. Twice-exceptional students, or gifted students with co-existing disabilities, can be challenging for parents to understand. Dr. Foley Nicpon will discuss best practices for accommodating twice-exceptional students' needs which includes identifying and developing talent domains. She will present ways these children can be prepared to take advantage of enrichment opportunities and programs for academically gifted children.
