Who's Eligible: Northwestern alumni, preferably females, who return to the University to pursue a terminal Master's degree in any field of study. Applicant may be newly admitted or currently enrolled, but must be registered as full-time graduate student in Fall Quarter 2013.
Details: The Alumnae of Northwestern University offers this Fellowship to full-time graduate students who show promise of achieving distinction in their chosen field and who will bring credit to the University. Criteria for selection include quality of scholarship, leadership, community service, professional experience, and financial need. Special consideration will be given to students who choose a program in pursuit of a career that serves the public good.
Application Process: Candidates submit a completed application form along with a personal statement that highlights their educational and career goals and describes their need for financial assistance. Statements are limited to 500 words.
Candidates must provide a copy of their Letter of Acceptance to the specific terminal Master’s Degree Program, in addition to copies of all Northwestern transcripts and a current resume. Two Letters of Recommendation, from persons who can evaluate your qualifications for this Fellowship, must be submitted in sealed and signed envelopes.

The Alumnae of Northwestern University must receive 12 copies of the completed application and all supplemental materials by 12:00 noon on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the John Evans Alumni Center, 1800 Sheridan Rd., Evanston, Illinois 60208.
