Tim DeChristopher Climate justice activist, and co-founder of environmental group Peaceful Uprising, will discuss his act of nonviolent civil disobedience in 2008, in which he disrupted a government oil and gas lease auction to protect fragile lands in Southern Utah. Also appearing is author and conservationist Terry Tempest Williams who will be available for a book signing after the event.
