English Teaching Assistantships support English instruction in settings from kindergarten to university level classrooms. Fulbright seeks people with some teaching experience and a strong commitment to education.
Through the Fulbright program, individuals who hold undergraduate degrees go abroad to carry out intensive independent research, study at a foreign university, or teach English at the middle or high school level. Application Workshops assist current seniors, current juniors who will graduate by June 2014, alums, and graduate students. The workshops cover the basics of a Fulbright application, productive application and writing strategies, how to avoid common pitfalls, and better understand the Northwestern University application process. Attendance at a May Application Workshop is a prerequisite for currently enrolled students who wish to apply through Northwestern University. All others are welcome.
