About the Great Lakes Nuclear Receptor Conference (GLNRC):
The Great Lakes Nuclear Receptor Conference is a biennial meeting organized by leading researchers in the area of nuclear receptors and is held every other year at different institutions in the great lakes area. From the success of the initial conference held in 2003 at the University of Toledo, Ohio, the conference has grown in reputation and attendance. The second conference was held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2005), the 3rd at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007,and the 4th GLNRC (2010) in Ann Arbor, and the 5th at NU in Chicago. It has a tradition of excellent science and opportunities for junior investigators to interact with prominent leaders in the field. The 6th GLNRC will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin at Madison on October 17-18, 2014.
