This course meets twice for two hours each night.
This 4-hour workshop is designed for graduate students and post-docs who have submitted an abstract for a conference presentation. Attendees should come with laptops, resources, and a specific conference that they have either applied to or had a poster accepted at. The workshop will teach the basics of poster design, introduce some of the tools available, and the best methods to reach your audience. You will learn the basic elements of design, planning methods, PowerPoint tips, and characteristics of award-winning posters. In the second session, participants will get feedback on their fist draft designs.
