The Mobile MeetUp series is a chance for faculty and staff at the University to learn more about mobile technology, trends, and apps impacting the academic and work environments of the University.
NUIT invites you to join your colleagues at the May Mobile MeetUp that will explore web services application programming interfaces (APIs). Web services APIs are a set of programming instructions and standards that allow computer systems to interact with each other and exchange data. Institutions can open their web services APIs so that developers can create a wide range of value-added products powered by their databases and services.
At this Mobile MeetUp, Joe Germuska, director, Software Engineering, Knight Lab, and Rodolfo Vieira, web and mobile developer, NUIT Academic & Research Technologies, will provide you with a deeper look into web services APIs and demonstrate a variety of applications that developers were able to create because data was made available as a service.
Registration is requested.
