Even the most community-based and collaborative projects can generate research findings that prove difficult to share with wider audiences outside a given field, or academia more broadly. Please join Civically-Engaged Grads for a lunchtime conversation about transparency, relevancy, and connecting with the larger world around us and how research endeavors can best reach everyday contexts of civic and public life. In what ways are we able to disseminate and utilize new knowledge and discoveries from research in academic literature, convenings, and beyond? Food will be served, so bring your appetite. Kindly RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please notify with any dietary considerations. Hope to see you there!
