“Apolipoprotein Proteoforms, HDL Efflux, and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease”
In this talk we will discuss a grant application that aims to link apolipoprotein structural variation with HDL function and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. We plan to achieve this by measuring HDL function and using cutting edge proteomic techniques on samples from the CARDIA and MESA cohort studies. The results from this study will improve our understanding of HDL structure and function in states of health and disease.
