2014 New TA Conference (NTAC)

Registration is now open for the 2014 New TA Conference (NTAC). NTAC is an all-day training event for new teaching assistants at Northwestern. New TAs work with an NTAC Workshop Leader or Graduate Teaching Fellow from their discipline (or closely related discipline) to learn about effective strategies for teaching in their department. The afternoon sessions focus on cross-disciplinary topics such as leading discussion sections and fostering critical thinking. Participants are encouraged to reflect on effective teaching practices in labs, discussion sections, and lectures.
