The WW Women’s Studies Fellowships support research about women that crosses disciplinary, regional, or cultural boundaries. Fellows have explored such topics as transnational religious education for Muslim women, the complex gender dynamics of transidentity management, women’s electoral success across racial and institutional contexts, and militarism and the education of American women.
This is one of the longest-standing, most competitive doctoral fellowships offered by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. It provides not only support for dissertation writing, but also the opportunity to join an international network of more than 21,000 Woodrow Wilson Fellows who are impressive scholars and leaders across various fields, in and beyond the academy.
The competition deadline is October 15, 2014.
