Continuing their exploration of early Polish music, the Newberry Consort travels from the Renaissance world of Copernicus into the Baroque. The program includes foot-stomping Polish dances (featuring bagpipe!), folk tunes, songs, and choral repertory from one of eastern Europe’s richest cultures and one of Chicago’s most vibrant ethnic communities.
