Kelsey Rydland, Data Management Specialist, Research and Information Services Department, Northwestern University Library, will provide an introduction to the basics of using GIS. Desktop and web-based GIS will be covered. The discussion will conclude with an overview of the resources and expertise available to research students, faculty, and staff as they pursue their geospatial projects.
