Please join us for a conversation with Martha Lavey about her career and leadership experience as the artistic director of Steppenwolf Theatre since 1995. During her tenure, she has overseen the production of hundreds of plays and transferred dozens of Steppenwolf productions to Broadway and abroad. Under her leadership, Steppenwolf has been awarded the National Medal of the Arts, the Illinois Arts Legend Award, and 9 of the company's 12 Tony Awards. She is the recipient of the Sarah Siddons Award, an Alumni Merit Award, and an Honorary Doctorate from Northwestern University.
