Description:

Facilitated by the Center for Faith and Community Health Transformation and Northwestern University's Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities, the network brings together interested faith and academic communities to discuss joint activities like networking, education/capacity building, and collaborative initiatives.

The agenda for this meeting is to hear updates from the two sub-groups that have been meeting around caregiving and around developing measures for faith-based interventions, and the beginning of a sub-group focused on Muslim communities. We will also learn more in depth about some current faith-based community-engaged research initiatives.

We are piloting a new communication platform called Nexus that will allow us to easily communicate with each other, share information about our work, post calendar items and collaborate through a virtual meeting space. Please register yourself on Nexus as we will be using it to communicate with the group. Enroll by clicking here. When you want to sign in to Nexus in the future, you will find the link on the Community of Practice page at www.chicagofaithandhealth.org (http://www.chicagofaithandhealth.org/community-of-practice/).
