Description:

FACULTY WORKSHOP - Writing to Learn: Developing and Evaluating Writing Assignments within the Disciplines

Teaching writing within a regular course in any discipline has a dual benefit: While it helps students develop the communication skills needed in any field, it simultaneously promotes mastery of disciplinary material.  In this workshop, faculty will reflect on their learning objectives for writing assignments, and will learn to develop and evaluate writing assignments within the disciplines without drastically changing their syllabus or increasing their workload.

**Registration required.  Please click to register here.

*** Current workshop location is not wheelchair accessible.  If you need wheelchair access please let us know and we will do our best to find an accessible location.
