The Google search engines (including web search, Google Books and Google Scholar) provide powerful tools for locating scholarly literature on any academic discipline. This session will focus on strategies and techniques for making the most of Google’s search power to help you find academically appropriate material.
John Hernandez, librarian, User Experience Department, Northwestern University Library will draw on examples from a variety of academic disciplines and demonstrate how Google can be integrated along with other traditional library resources to give your research a boost.
