In this session, Kelsey Rydland, data management specialist, Research and Information Services Department, Northwestern University Library, will teach you how to create maps on the web and visualize geospatial data. No prior experience with GIS or mapping required.
Please bring your laptop and follow along as we walk through the steps to make an interactive web map. The workshop will provide a quick overview and familiarize you with CartoDB an easy to use mapping software. By the end of the session you will have the ability to make a basic interactive web map of your own.
