Hazel Rose Markus, PhD, is the Davis-Brack Professor in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. She is also the co-director of the Mind, Culture and Society Lab at Stanford and the co-director of Stanford SPARQ (Social Psychological Answers to Real World Questions). Markus is co-author of Clash! 8 Cultural Conflicts That Make Us Who We Are.

A coffee reception with Dr. Markus will follow at 8:30 p.m.
