ISP Alumni MD/PhD Info Session

Thursday, March 5, 6:00pm in the ISP House

Please join us for a discussion with three ISP Alumni who have completed or are currently in an MD/PhD program. We'll discuss how ISP prepares you for an MD/PhD program, the application process, and what comes next. Bring your questions.

Speakers:

Dr. Jason Jarzembowski (EC90) completed BAs in Integrated Science, Biology, and Chemistry in three years before going on to receive his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He subsequently completed his Residency in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology at the University of Michigan and a Fellowship in Pediatric Pathology at Washington University. Jason has worked as a Pathologist at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin since 2007 and currently serves as the Interim Section Chief of Pediatric Pathology and the Interim Medical Directory of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Jason is also a Associate Professor of Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Andrew Karaba (EC03) graduated with a degree in Integrated Science, Biology, and Chemistry before continuing on to receive his PhD in Virology from Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine. Andrew will complete his MD at Feinberg later this year. He conducts research on viral pathogenesis and plans on a career in academic medicine with time devoted to research, clinical practice, and teaching.

Anil Wadhwani (EC07) graduated with a degree in Integrated Science and Biology and is currently working toward an MD/PhD at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine.
