Tuesday, March 10, at 12 noon
Please join us for an informal discussion with two ISP alumni on the academic track.
James Kath (EC05) graduated with a degree in ISP and Physics. After deferring for a year to teach English in Japan, he began graduate school studying Biophysics at Harvard where he will receive his PhD this fall. James conducts research in a single-molecule biochemistry lab and is an NSF Fellow and National Goldwater Scholarship winner.
Samantha (Sam) Brown-Xu (EC05) graduated with a degree in ISP and Chemistry and received her PhD in Inorganic Chemistry last summer from Ohio State University. Sam is currently a postdoc in Lin Chen's lab here at NU where she conducts research on solar energy using ultrafast laser studies. She is an NSF Fellow and a NDSEG Fellow.
