Join us for the second webinar in a 2-part series on best practices for measuring blood pressure. Michael Rakotz MD, Director of Chronic Disease Prevention at the American Medical Association, will lead a discussion for providers and office staff on blood pressure (BP) measurement techniques for the home.

Mike will describe the the benefits of using self-measured BP (SMBP) with your patients, and will describe when SMBP could be used to diagnose and help manage high blood pressure. He'll go over how to select a device and recommend a protocol for SMBP. The resources needed to create a successful SMBP program from your office and ways health IT can play a role in blood pressure control will also be covered. Q&A will follow the presentation.
