Workshop Description:
Having trouble breaking down the barrier between you and your students? Fear not! Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) are here to help! CATs allow for quick feedback to gauge the effectiveness of your teaching and student learning. In this workshop, we will provide you with the tools to design effective CATs for your teaching situation and extract useful information from the CATs about student learning.
Workshop Facilitators:
Miguel is a third-year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering working on computational methods for multi-scale analysis of materials.
Alyssa is a graduate student in Chemistry. She is currently working on the exploratory synthesis of chalcophosphates, trying to synthesize new non-linear optical materials.
