The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases & Northwestern Memorial Hospital Department of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Prevention & the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science - College of Pharmacy jointly present Antimicrobial Resistance: An Interdisciplinary Research Symposium. Invited guests from Chicago and nationally will be speaking various aspects of antimicrobial resistance, including epidemiology, organism specific information, new diagnostic technology, new antimicrobials, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Each year the 2nd year Infectious Diseases fellows host a research symposium. This year we are hosting speakers to discuss the timely topic of antimicrobial resistance. Our target audience includes medical students, nursing students, pharmacy students, residents, fellows, attendings, pharmacists, nurses, and anyone else interested in learning more about antimicrobial resistance.
