Michael Hillman has been responsible for taking numerous products from conceptualization to market since he joined Apple in 2000 as Product Design Lead for the iMac G4. He has over 20 years of experience in product design for established corporations, start-up companies and a product development consultancy firm. Michael’s experience in engineering and product development spans a broad array of industries including medical devices, biotechnology, household appliances, industrial tools and most recently, computers and consumer electronics. He has been awarded 26 utility patents, 9 design patents and has over 30 pending patent applications. Prior to his current position at Apple, Michael was Senior Manager for iMac Product Design. Before joining Apple, Michael was Project Leader at Sundberg-Ferar Inc., Senior Design Engineer at Aastrom Biosciences, Inc., and Senior Engineer at both Dexide, Inc. and at Baxter Healthcare Corp.

He earned his B.S. in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University
