A Research Community Forum is a comprehensive one-day program focusing on regulatory and ethical issues surrounding the protection of human subjects in research. The U.S. Ofice for Human Research Protections (OHRP) sponsors a limited number of these regional conferences each year in collaboration with local institutions.
Local and national experts including NU’s Abel Kho and RIC’s Andy Kondrat will present a variety of topics, including:
* Keynote speaker, Dr. Elizabeth Buchanan speaking on "A New Internet Research Ethics Program."
* OHRP speaker, Dr. Ivor Pritchard presenting a plenary session entitled "The SUPPORT Trial and Beyond".
