FASEB summer research conference on “Integration of Genomic and Nongenomic Steroid Hormone Action” will be held from August 9th – 14th of this year at Big Sky, Montana. The conference’s microsite (www.faseb.org/SRC-Steroid/Home.aspx) contains the link for on-line registration as well as details on abstract submission, travel awards, transportation and the venue, etc.
This conference includes various sessions examining nongenomic and genomic steroid hormone receptor signaling in the context of cancer, metabolism and epigenetics with applications to various organ systems (i.e. cardiovascular, renal, central nervous system). In addition to state-of-the-art presentations by leading experts in various fields, each day will include short talks by trainees and/or young investigators chosen from submitted abstracts. Furthermore, we have received funding to support trainee and young investigator travel so we particularly encourage you to alert trainees in your laboratory or institution to the opportunities offered by this conference.
We look forward to seeing you in Big Sky this summer and having you contribute to the innovative science that will be discussed throughout the week.
Sincerely,
Conference Organizers
