CBITs Seminar Series: Nick Titov and Blake Dear from Macquarie University, Australia presents "Translating research into practice: An update on deploying internet interventions developed at the eCentreClinic to the Australian national MindSpot Clinic"

Abstract:
This talk provides an update on recent work at the eCentreClinic and MindSpot Clinics, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
First, recent results from the eCentreClinic will be discussed. The eCentreClinic is an online clinical research unit that develops and evaluates internet-delivered treatments for high prevalence mental disorders. Research that will be reviewed includes results from large RCTs of internet-delivered transdiagnostic treatments for anxiety and depressive disorders, treatments for older adults, and treatments for people with chronic health conditions.
Second, results from the implementation of that research at the MindSpot Clinic, will be discussed. The MindSpot Clinic is a national online mental health service funded by the Australian Government. The MindSpot Clinic employs 43 staff, and provides assessment and treatment services to approximately 20,000 Australians per annum.
Key learnings and lessons in deploying research from the eCentreClinic to the MindSpot will be discussed.
