This talk will focus on the experiences of Central American migrant women within the transnational activist’s networks that emerged in the 1980's during the civil wars. By focusing on their experiences, I hope to demonstrate the significance of accounting for gender along with race, class, sexuality, and nation when discussing the formation and promise of transnational citizenship.
