Description:

Firm Rounds is one of the most unique multidisciplinary conferences hosted by the Department of Pediatrics, taking place Tuesday mornings from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the eleventh-floor conference center at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Each week, faculty from each of the pediatric disciplines discuss and debate a single recent case from the clinics or wards. Trainees are able to sit back and learn from the experts as they generate a differential, present cutting-edge evidence-based data, and work through the medical decision making process. Transcriptions of FIRM are published monthly in the journal Pediatric Annals.
