Describing and communicating the impact of your research is becoming increasingly important. In this Toolkit, we will focus on a variety of quantitative measures of research impact. We will discuss journal-level metrics, author-level metrics, article-level metrics, and alt metrics.

The Researcher's Toolkit is a technology workshop series designed to help Northwestern researchers improve scholarly productivity and efficiency in the areas of programming, data analysis, scientific computing, data management, publication skills, and GIS.
