The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund offers graduate fellowships in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture or other formal professional training) and scholarly publications focusing on Armenian studies and culture.
Fellowships are restricted to graduate students who are United States citizens attending an accredited and designated institution of higher education within the United States. Graduate student applicants can be of any national descent but must be U.S. citizens. Applications must be submitted through the dean of the university where the student is pursuing graduate studies. In the case of undergraduate liberal arts colleges, students in their senior year are eligible to apply for a fellowship to fund their future graduate work.
Fellowship candidates must have an outstanding undergraduate record, demonstrate financial need and be attending a designated college or university.
Fellowships cover the cost of tuition and provide an annual $18,000 stipend for living expenses.
The internal deadline is 9AM on Friday, 11 December.
Contact Beth Pardoe for application materials - e-pardoe@northwestern.edu
For the internal deadline, you need not include your original GRE scores, FAFSA, tax returns, etc. Simply supply the information in the application itself and include any additional financial data in electronic form when you email the application to this address. Your letter writers may also email their letters to Beth Pardoe for the internal deadline. Be aware, however, that those original documents (including signed letters of reference) are required in hard copy to submit to the foundation should you secure one of Northwestern’s three nominations.
The national deadline is Monday, 25 January 2016.
