1. Understand the role of innate immune responses to Borrelia burgdorferi in the pathogenesis of Lyme disease
2. Describe the role of subcellular compartmentalization on innate immune responses mediated through Toll-like receptor 2
3. Discuss mechanisms of establishment of long term infection with B. burgdorferi and understand both host and bacterial mechanisms for survival and co-existence."
