Description:

Charlotte Moorman electrified the avant-garde scene in 1960s New York with her experimental approaches to music, performance and pure spectacle. While the Block Museum celebrates Moorman’s enormous creative output with two exhibits: “A Feast of Astonishments: Charlotte Moorman and the Avant-Garde, 1960s-1980s” and "Don't Throw Anything Out: Charlotte Moorman's Archive", the library’s exhibit in Deering lobby gives a glimpse of other avant-garde artists before, during and after Moorman’s yeas on the scene.
