Join us for wine, hors d’oeuvres, and conversation!

Across two panels, Graduate Teaching Fellows and Graduate Teaching Mentors from the Searle Center will investigate the role of pedagogical development at Northwestern and beyond.

While the event is free, registration is required. Register here by May 10.

(3:15-4:00PM) Panel 1: Cultures of Teaching and Learning at Northwestern
Panelists will investigate the contexts in which graduate students find themselves in the NU classroom, modes of preparation and support across the disciplines, and the contributions of teaching opportunities to graduate programs.

(4:00-4:10PM) Break

(4:15-5:00PM) Panel 2: Teaching and Learning Beyond Northwestern
Panelists will discuss the role that pedagogical development plays in their approaches to the academic job market, alternatives to academic careers, and industry positions.
