Description:

Organized by the Northwestern Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing.

This Symposium will focus on the intersection of research and policy and will feature opening remarks from State Representative Greg Harris and a keynote lecture by Karen L. Parker, Ph.D., M.S.W., Director, Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), who will discuss LGBT health funding and priorities at NIH.  Dr. Parker’s keynote will be followed by presentations by ISGMH faculty Drs. Brian Mustanski, Michelle Birkett, and Michael Newcomb.

Reception to follow in the courtyard.
