Alumni discuss with current students their inter-cultural careers.  There are so many ways you can engage with the world, and our alumni will share their college-to-international-career stories.

Emily McCall, (WCAS Econ/Spanish '13) Strategy & Operations Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, who has worked on projects for Deloitte in Nicaragua.

Doug Kuzniar, (Poli Sci/Int'll Studies '07) Pharma Study Coordinator at Hematogenix.  Doug spent five years at on the Life Sciences/Health Care team at the British Consultate and now works for Hematogenix, helping them expand in the UK and Asia.

Rodney Carew (WCAS Poli Sci/Int'll Studies '09) is a Project Leader at Open Capital Advisors and will be joining us via skype from Nairobi, Kenya.  Open Capital is a management consultant and financial advisers firm committed to growth in Africa. 

Leah Witt, MD (WCAS Anthro/Global Health '07), Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellow, University of Chicago. For two consecutive summers, Leah traveled to the field site of her mentor, William Leonard, PhD, to study health in the aging population of the Tsimane’, an Amerindian population of lowland Bolivia. After Northwestern, she attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and in 2011, she started Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago Medicine.

Allison Finn, Program Manager, Global Nomads Group, MA Candidate, American Univ of Beirut

Alli is a conflict resolution professional focused on intercultural dialogue, mediation, and education, with experience in NYC, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Since 2012, she has worked with Global Nomads Group (GNG) to design and facilitate virtual exchange programs connecting youth in the Muslim and Arab worlds with peers in the US. Alli is currently based in Lebanon, where she is pursuing her MA in Sociology at the American University of Beirut.
