In conjunction with the screening of Tell the Prime Minister, the East Asian Research Society will hold an informal lunch workshop with Professor Oguma Eiji on contemporary protest movements in Japan. Professor Oguma is a prominent historical sociologist who has written a number of important books and articles about Japanese nationalism, postwar democracy, and social movements.
